Add the required libraries if they are not already present in the system:
aptitude install perl libnet-ssleay-perl openssl libauthen-pam-perl libpam-runtime libio-pty-perl apt-show-versions libmd5-perl
Add the Webmin repository by editing the /etc/apt/sources.list file:
nano /etc/apt/sources.list
At the very end of the file, add the following line:
deb http://download.webmin.com/download/repository sarge contrib
Install the GPG key:
cd /tmp
wget http://www.webmin.com/jcameron-key.asc
apt-key add jcameron-key.asc
Install Webmin by running the following commands:
aptitude update
aptitude install webmin
You can access Webmin through a browser:
https://localhost:10000
Accept the certificate and log in using the root user account.
